Awesome. My first reaction to seeing the word "Cannonball" on your song page was the same as when I seen it on the back of Brandi's CD.. "Please don't let it be that bloody Damien Rice song".
This is probably my favourite song from "The Story" and you really do it justice!
Ironically, the backing vocals on the original are performed by the "Indigo Girls".

I admit to being totally ignorant about the original, sorry.. I love this one regardless. Those vocals are so wonderful and it works so great with that guitar. Lovely!
